The room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff, especially Tania, provided really good service with their warm smiles and helpful advice. The location was perfect for exploring Lyon.
Breakfast area is small.

Nice that the hotel is in the heart of the city. 200 metres are distance to the restaurant.

Quiet atmosphere near Perrache with good breakfast options.
Unfortunately, the room felt cramped and worn out. The shower head had a recurring issue, made bathing a chore. The lack of sufficient hangers in the bathroom was inconvenient for drying towels.

Friendly helpful staff. Secure undercover car parking if booked. We had booked a triple room (Room 40) which was spacious with large bathroom overlooking the rear of the hotel. Breakfast room was small but adequate with basic continental breakfast. Lift to all floors. All very clean & comfortable and good central location.
No complaints, look forward to staying there again if we visit Lyon.

I had a great 4-night stay in a cozy room with super comfortable amenities, but the breakfast area felt a bit cramped during busy hours. I'd definitely go back!

1-Helpful receptionists; 2-Good location (near Perrache); 3-Can't say about breakfast as I did not have breakfast there.
1-Mattress was not clean; 2-They use air-conditioner in winter which is not something popular in France and I dont like air-conditioners; 3-Room spray smells very strong, not good for people with sensible noses.

Clean room and the basic amenities are there. For the room rate of 62Euro, its really a good deal when compared to other hotels in France. I like it because the room size is just nice for two persons. The bathroom is clean and they give clean fresh towels. I only stayed there one night but I am very happy overall.
The elevator is small and does not fit two persons with two average sized luggage easily. Its very tight of space.

I was looking for a budget hotel within walking distance of Old Lyon for myself and three children. Hotel des Savoies ticked all the boxes. The room was small but adequate and there was no shower, though there was a shower attachment over the bath. The hotel was easy to find with satnav and the parking facilities were good. There was air conditioning though it was very noisy. The breakfast was a little limited (just a roll and a croissant, with a glass of orange juice and choice of tea or coffee) but staff were friendly. The walk from the hotel to Old Lyons was an easy and interesting one, almost all pedestrianised, and took about 15 minutes.

The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the heat, providing much-needed comfort. The location offered easy access to shopping and local attractions. The room felt a bit cramped, and there were instances of noise from surrounding areas that were disruptive. The breakfast options, while decent, could benefit from greater variety to enhance the experience.

This hotel is cool and clean, has understanding staff and incredible location near to train & tram station. The classic room is cheap with the coffee and tea plus comfy bed. They serve fabulous food, have a good choice of options to choose from. It offers nice services. This place is good value.

My flight was cancelled, so I was a day late - they did not charge me for the first night. (We did let them know in advance but after the cutoff time to cancel). Our room (in the back of the hotel) was totally quiet. Hotel is located on a main road that leads into the big plaza, about 10 minute walk away. They happily stored our luggage for the day for free, so we could walk around town and leave in the late afternoon. While the room was small, it had lots of shelves and nooks - plenty of room to unpack and store stuff. The bathroom was large, modern, and clean.
